Beautiful Turquoise Blue Pacific Celestial Parrotlets (Forpus coelestis), male is 3 years old and female is 2 years old. Their lifespan is around 30 plus years. They have to go together as they are bonded for lifetime.
Very lovely and cute parrotlets reared by hand and household. They are very friendly and keep loving each other all the time. They are very tame, playful, non-biting and attachment seeking birds. The male is capable of talking if trained. They respond to humans and come around and play. They interact and communicate very well. Guidance can be given on their lifestyle and communications.
These little fellas are not caged and go freely in the house. They go in the cage to feed. Although they say that paired parrotlets ignore the owner, these are an exception and they love company and they sit on the shoulders most of the time watching what we do.
We are reluctant in giving them away due to lack of time and not able to give them the love and affection they demand most of the time. We are giving away a large cage, nest, all its accessories, toys, some past vitamins and medicines and remaining food. Please see pictures. They produce around 7 eggs each time with healthy chicks (pictures can be provided on request).
We want to make sure that the new owners would take them seriously and take care of them like we did. If interested, kindly reply with the feedback to the below questionnaire. It is just to make sure that the little ones go to a loving home.
1. Reason for purchase. Example: Breeding, Single Pet, Mixed with other animals etc.
2. Any pictures of environment our birds are expected to live would be great.
3. Smoking environment? These birds will not survive in a smoke environment or confined areas. They like to go around and are very sensitive to perfumes, fumes and chemicals etc.
4. Indoor or Outdoor? They originated from a warm environment from Mexico, so they would need to be indoors only and cannot be kept outdoors in UK.
5. Do you understand their food requirements, upkeeping, knowledge of breed etc?
6. How much attention can you give to the bird? They are very attention seeking and interactive. They won't survive solidarity.
7. These birds are not toys, they are feisty and can attack other animals or humans if not handled properly.
Many Thanks
