This is an indoor heated cage for rearing chicks and other young birds.
Cage is a Ferplast Duna Multy (these are £52.35 new on Amazon).
Approximate measurements 71cm l x 46cm w x 31.5cm h and is equipped with a ceramic food bowl and 1.3 litre mushroom water dispenser dispenser and fitted with a bulbholder flex and plug with a 60W red heat bulb providing warmth.
Sturdy, easy to clean, plastic ‘open-top’ design terrarium for good ventilation for birds, but maintains more constant warmth levels than a cheap open sided mesh hamster or rabbit type cage.
Access from the top through hinged grill/lid.
Signs of use are:
the perspex top has water scale marks and some scratches and a small crack and is quite opaque, none of which affects its operation.
The plastic base has some internal staining which is mostly covered by the wood shavings in the bottom, but there are no cracks or obvious damage and has been thoroughly cleaned and will give plenty of service yet.
Will need to be collected from Southampton SO30 postcode or may be able to deliver locally for petrol money.
