6yr old Lanner x Gyr
2013 Lanner x Gyr tiercel. Bred at the north east falconry center. Beautiful bird i acquired in May and have flown nearly every day since, great to the lure but haven't hunted with him. He is currently moulting and at 1lb 13/14oz, usually flies at around 1lb 12oz but still flies at the heavier weight.
The main reason i need to sell is he has a problem with buzzards and kites in particular and where i live there are loads(on the welsh border)! I would definitely say any potential buyer will have to have somewhere to fly him where this is less of a problem.
Also quite hood shy, which has been slowly improving so with some patience should be able to rectify.
Reflecting this he is a reasonable price (as the previous owner paid £1200)
