I am very sadly having to sell my two hand-reared pineapple conures, who have been amazing companion animals for me over the last four years. I have recently been diagnosed with a connective tissue disorder which greatly limits my ability to care for and interact with the birds to the extent that I used to, which leads me to conclude they would be better off with someone who can dedicate more time to them
Both of them are calm, steady, and confident birds who were excellently socialised by the breeder and to a further extent with me.
The cage and its contents are included, along with the lighting and approximately 10 months' worth of high-quality base food. The cage is a good quality enclosure that is appropriate for this species of bird and is adequately sized for the duration of the bird's lives, providing the provision of a flying aviary (like I have), or plenty of out-of-cage flying time.
These birds represent a long-term commitment because they are still young and can live for a very long time. Finding them the highest quality home is my overriding priority, so I will be making inquiries with any potential buyers. I would prefer someone with experience, but they can be good birds for those with little aviculture experience, so I'm more than happy to let them go to the right person and stay in touch to guide you through keeping them properly.
