A rare opportunity to own and fly a Hybrid Harris Hawk x Redtail, I have flown this hawk for 5 seasons and it has taken a full cross section of fur and feather.
It has flown cooperatively with other Harris Hawks and share kills with no issues, it has also shown breeding potential, paired with a male Harris and copulation has occurred but not laid yet.
I don’t know if the cross is fertile but I also doubt anyone else knows either.
She was purchased as a male which turned out to be a female and I have had her DNA sexed.
This is regretful sale due to the lack of space and flying other hawks.
She flies between 2lb and 2 lb 2oz, works with ferrets and dogs, she will follow on like a Harris and is silent.
She has just completed her moult.
