Young people in Flintshire, Wales, who have been or are at risk of being, homeless, have participated in a Keep Wales Tidy initiative to build houses for birds of prey. The young people from supported living schemes across Flintshire, managed by Clwyd Alyn Housing Association, helped build nest boxes for kestrels and barn owls, and were awarded £150 of B&Q vouchers each for helping with the project. Lesley Jones, chief executive of Keep Wales Tidy, said: “I am delighted so many groups across Wales have got involved with this campaign and are doing something wonderful for wildlife. “Keep Wales Tidy would like to thank B&Q for all their support.”
