The majority of birds, wild and domestic alike, are keen vocalists and enjoy a good sing-along more than most.

We've tracked down our top 5 winged crooners - consisting of the good, bad and just plain weird - for you to enjoy!

    5. Kame-chan the Cockatiel

Our first songbird is the adorable Kame-Chan, a Cockatiel specialising in video game music and Japanese nursery rhymes. He’s particularly fond of the Chocobo Theme from the Final Fantasy series:

    4. Groucho, Disney’s Singing Parrot

Any Parrot that performs at Disney Animal Kingdom for a living must be pretty special, right? See for yourself:

    3. Gangham Style Parrot

Slightly off tempo and not entirely together, but this little guy definitely gets 10 points for effort and enthusiasm. Tip - Wait for the ‘Sexy Ladies’ Part:

    2. Metalhead Parrot

Imagine waking up in the night to hear this! Pretty disturbing, but this parrot’s redition of Drowning Pool’s “Let The Bodies Hit The Floor” is spot on! (Well, for a bird anyway…)

    1. The Musical Dinner Companion

Our top spot goes this chirpy chap, who just wants to give his canine friend a cool theme to eat his dinner to:
