One of the oldest parrots dies

An African Parrot, believed to be one of the oldest parrots to live, by the name of Tarbu died leaving his last word, 'cheerio'. Nina Morgan has had this rescued parrot for 55 years.

Nina Morgan cries goodbye to her companion, who died 3 weeks ago, after they used to watch TV together and she used to feed him kitkats. The tight bond was diffult for the 89 year old to let go. The parrot, full of life, was known for talking a lot and mimicking animals, such as dogs and cats.
