Quentin Tarantino sues his neighbour - over pet macaws

Quentin Tarantino is suing his next-door neighbour in Los Angeles, CA over his ‘intolerably loud’ macaws. Tarantino’s screenwriter neighbour Alan Ball keeps a quantity of the large wild parrot – known for its loud and sociable nature – and apparently the director is unable to concentrate on his work because of their screeches. Tarantino has claimed that the noise is a breach of California civil code, and that it is damaging his health. Allegedly Tarantino complained regularly to Ball before filing the suit, and Ball promised to keep the macaws in a soundproofed aviary – however, according to the Pulp Fiction auteur, the birds are regularly let out of their cages to continue making noise.
