A breeder of Quaker Parrots is told her birds are illegal in New Hampshire
A woman in the US state of New Hampshire has been told she must relocate her collection of almost 20 Quaker parrots because they are banned in the state, due to their nesting habits. The woman had been breeding Quaker parrots for many years, blissfully unaware of New Hampshire laws concerning the parrots. The state will help the woman relocate the birds, whose nesting habits can damage power lines and other structures.
