Pigeon Problem in Coventry
The city of Coventry in the West Midlands is currently dealing with a major pigeon problem! Pest control experts claim that the city’s pigeon population has exploded. City centre residents claim that the problem must be dealt with, as pigeon droppings are covering the city pavements. There are nesting pigeons in nearly every shop. Fungal spores from pigeon droppings can cause lung diseases and infections. Dave Nash who runs the firm Pestbusters claims that one recent pigeon clean-up operation cost £100,000. The council itself doesn’t deal with pigeon infestations.
