Kent Traders Take Drastic Measures
An association of traders in Kent have hired a bird of prey to scare away pigeons. The Association of Pantiles Traders in Tunbridge Wells have employed the hawk to deal with pigeons that they say are damaging historic buildings in the town by defecating on facades. Originally they tried to deter the pigeons by playing hawk sounds through a speaker, to no avail, leading them to purchase a real bird of prey. They are hoping that the Traders Association will be able to help with funding for the hawk.
