    Indian Man Prosecuted Over Pigeon-Related Murder

    The High Court in Delhi, capital of India, today upheld the life sentence of a man who killed his neighbour – because his neighbour had stopped him from catching pigeons and clipping their wings off.  According to the prosecution, the two men Sunil and Balraj (the victim) kept pigeons and flew them as sport. On October 25, 1991, Sunil was alleged to have caught the pigeons belonging to Balraj and clipped their wings.An altercation between Sunil and Balraj led to the murder of the deceased, leading to the life sentence for Sunil.
