    Gruesome Chicken Massacre in Derbyshire

A group of unknown thugs have beheaded chickens in a gruesome attack on allotments in Somercotes, a village in Derbyshire. The grisly discovery was made by shocked allotment holders on Saturday morning around 8.30am. Although twenty-one of the birds were stolen, many others were beheaded using a knife and a hammer. These weapons were found on site and will be examined by forensics. Police believe the incident took place some time after 6pm on Friday. The thieves even tried to remove the roof of a feed store to get to the poultry, and smashed up four chicken coops. Police have urged anybody offered cheap chicken to get in touch, as the robbers could have been aiming to cook and sell the birds.
