The first rare golden eagle to be seen in Wales for 200 years was spotted over the weekend

A rare golden eagle has been spotted near Ceredigion in Wales. The rare eagle disappeared from Wales over two centuries ago. It’s not known how the bird of prey ended up in Wales but there are those who suspect it lost its way, possibly from Scotland where golden eagles in the UK are usually found. There are only about 450 breeding pairs of golden eagles in the UK. There is only one golden eagle left in England.
