    Eagle Goes Missing in Perthshire

A falconer in the Scottish country of Perthshire has called a search after his bald eagle has disappeared for the second time. The nine-year-old bird of prey, named Pilgrim, went missing on Saturday afternoon after it was chased away by wild buzzards near his home at Phoenix Falconry near Auchterarder. Phoenix Falconry’s head falconer has appealed to the Scottish public to keep their eyes peeled for the rare bird of prey. Apparently two sightings of the bird of prey have been made, leaving the falconer optimistic.

Pilgrim is a very distinctive dark brown bird with a white head and tail. It has a wing span of almost seven feet and is unlikely to be mistaken for a native species.

Anyone with information about Pilgrim should call 01764 682823 or 07769 557350.
