    Cruel Vandalism In Manchester Park

After yesterday’s unpleasant report of two louts killing a pigeon in a Wigan park, another even more horrific example of bird cruelty comes out of Wythenshawe Park, also in Greater Manchester. Vandals broke into the park’s aviary sometime on Saturday night and proceeded to behead eighteen birds before throwing the carcasses of the innocent avians around the park.

They also murdered a frog and filled a pond with fertiliser, therefore killing all the carp swimming within it. Greater Manchester Police said they believed more than £10,000 of damage had been caused in the sickeningly cruel and unnecessary act. Greater Manchester Police have asked that anybody with any information pertaining to the act of vandalism, come forward and inform the police so that they may arrest the culprits.
