A Middlesborough disabled pensioner has his prized owls stolen by heartless burglars

Heartless thieves have robbed a disabled pensioner of his three treasured owls, which he kept in an aviary in his back yard in Middlesborough. The pensioner, John Miller, described the owls as “priceless” to him. One of the owls was a brown speckled tawny owl and the other two were Barn Owls, one cream and one brown. The birds of prey are thought to have been stolen from his home at around 8pm on Saturday night. Mr. Miller says he is worried about the owls wellbeing as the thieves may not know how to take care of the birds properly.
