Chicken, ducks and geese were all victims of this crime. A large volume of blood was left behind after these pet birds were stolen and some killed. It is thought that some of the birds that were taken had their throats slit before due to the amount of  blood left at the crime scene. Sharon Ellis-Dale, the owner of the stoke farm, was devastated and described the scene as 'blood and feathers all over the place'.

'There was blood running all down the doors of the chicken coop, and there was a puddle of blood inside.'

The police are now investigating this to find out who committed this terrible crime.
