    Birds Need Some Time Alone

    Scientific studies show that birds find living in large groups more stressful than in pairs

    It turns out humans aren’t the only ones who think “I just need some time to myself!” Scientific studies carried out on ravens have found that birds living in groups are much more stressed than those living alone or, more commonly, in pairs. The scientists analysed bird droppings and found more stress hormones in birds in groups. The increased stress could be caused by competition for dominance, according to the researchers.
