Over in the USA, 15 communities in the state of Wisconsin have been honoured as "Bird Cities" by the Milwaukee Audubon Society for their efforts to improve bird habitats and educate their citizens about birds. These Bird Cities are Mequon, Stevens Point, Green Bay, Muskego, Oshkosh, New London, Lake Geneva, Brookfield, River Falls, Bayside, Chenequa, Hales Corners, Williams Bay, Ozaukee County and Manitowish Waters. Do any of our users agree that this sounds like a very good idea? How do you think a similiar project could be implemented elsewhere, such as in the UK? Perhaps some of you know of similiar ongoing projects that we at Birdtrader are currently unaware of! In any of these cases, send an email through to [email protected] so we can let our other users know!
