Big Garden Birdwatch a success
The RSPB says that record numbers of people took part in the world’s biggest survey of garden birds. It claimed to have received 100,000 forms back from people who participated in the Big Garden Birdwatch. Early reports show that lots of unusual birds have made the cut this year aside from the usual suspects such as sparrows and starlings. One Scottish participant has even claimed to have seen an eagle in her garden. There are still two weeks left in which to submit your results to the RSPB.
