    A Royal Wedding Penguin

A Humboldt penguin chick hatched on Easter Sunday and promptly abandoned by its mother at London Zoo will be named after either Prince William or his bride-to-be Kate Middleton, intended to give it a lucky life in yet another example of royal wedding hysteria! Until the bird’s gender is discovered it will be known as Egg. It’s being fed through a syringe and kept in an Incubator wrapped in, you guessed it, the Union Jack. When the bird is 10 weeks old, staff will be able to check on its gender and choose between Wills or Kate for its namesake.
